Assistant Director: Averi Rojas

St. John Theatre opened its 45th season with the delightful Southern comedy Always a Bridesmaid. Directed by Danielle Ordoyne with Assistant Director Averi Rojas, the production brought laughter, warmth, and a touch of whimsy to the historic stage.

The play followed four lifelong friends who made a promise on the night of their senior prom: to stand in each other’s weddings—no matter what. More than thirty years later, these spirited women were still honoring that vow as they gathered time and again to celebrate each other’s trips down the aisle. Through decades of weddings, unforgettable bridesmaid dresses, and life’s many ups and downs, their friendship proved that true bonds can weather just about anything.

Filled with humor and heart, Always a Bridesmaid celebrated loyalty, laughter, and the enduring power of friendship.
