St. John Theatre Summer CHildren’s Workshop 2026

St. John Theatre will present its annual children’s drama workshop featuring Disney’s Aladdin KIDS from May 26 through June 5, weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the theatre, located at 115 W. Fourth Street in Reserve.

Children who have completed first grade through sixth grade are invited to attend.

Based on the iconic animated film, with an Academy Award–winning score by Alan Menken, Howard Ashman, and Tim Rice, Disney’s Aladdin KIDS is a magical musical adventure filled with romance, comedy, and excitement.

The story follows Aladdin, a clever street urchin who uses a genie’s magic to become a prince in hopes of winning the heart of Princess Jasmine. Favorite characters including Jafar, Iago, the Genie, and more bring this tale to life. Unique to this production are the Djinn, a group of stage magicians who help create the show’s most magical moments and allow even more young performers to shine.

Veteran director Kristen Brooks will direct both the workshop and production. Participants will present Disney’s Aladdin KIDS on June 6 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

In addition to rehearsals, students will enjoy crafts, games, and theatre activities throughout the workshop.

Space is limited and pre-registration is required.
Cost: $100
